the Founder
I always believed I was a dog person. My brother’s Golden Retriever Bruno and I had a mutual admiration society which involved long jungle hikes, pub hopping, extensive grooming sessions in overflowing bath tubs and massages. A monsoon visit to the neighbourhood fish market found me rescuing a scaredy 10 day old kitten from an overflowing drain. I named her Mau’mau. Little did I know then that she would rescue my COVID lockdown! The 'chiman tondi', bat eared, sabre toothed, tiger clawed foot hunter, wet nosed kisser, Jekyll and Hyde midnight manic became my angel. As I continued to care for these fur babies, I acutely felt the lack of trusted support in the pet care space.
Here’s where my rich corporate experience spanning 18 years across the Automobile, FMCG, Media, and Education sector, came in handy. I decided to bring together my two greatest loves of pets and problem solving to start PawPurrfect. Mau’Mau and I are now making sure expert pet care services become a hassle-free reality in India, one perfect paw at a time!

The limited hours availability of Training, Grooming, Sitting, Walking, Boarding Veterinary, Ophthalmology and Dentistry specialists at specific locations pose severe inconvenience to pet parents. A problem our founder Mrinalini herself faced over the years. Thus began a quest to make on-demand, expert pet care services available to all.

The PawPurrfect app was conceptualised to get you best rated service experts, at a preferred price and schedule. The app takes the personal safety and comfort of both the pet and parents very seriously. All service experts’ profiles become live only when the backgrounds are third party checked. Emergency services can be requested, if available in the service area. The app currently covers Mumbai but we plan to expand to more cities very soon. With PawPurrfect, you’re no longer alone in ensuring the best care and love for your dogs and cats!
